I had a garage door that would not open. Noticing that the spring was broken, I called Desert Overhead from a search. Well done to Desert Overhead door! Called them this morning with a door issue - spring unwound - door would not operate. The repairman Martin arrived at around 3:30 and expertly knew what the issue was and proceeded to dis-assemble, fix and adjust the door in 30 minutes! Great service.

While we were gone this summer our neighbors noticed in checking our house that the garage door wasn't working. We had used Desert Overhead Door in the past as did some of our relatives so I gave them a call. Within a day Martine came and got the door working before we got home, we were only charged for a service call even though, according to our neighbors, he spent a lot of time redoing the opener on the wall plus worked on the entire system. The door works great. They are the only garage door company that I or my family down here will choose. Once again thank you folks, especially Martine.

It's Saturday night and my garage door would only open up about a foot.
I called my usual people only to receive an answering service and that I would be called back sometime Monday morning. I looked through Yelp and seeing so many positive reviews decided to call Desert Overhead. Brody was very helpful and worked with me to be able to get to work Monday morning. He placed me 1st on the service list. Martine showed up shortly after 8am. A really nice guy. Turns out my garage door itself was broken! Instead of leaving me to deal with a unfixed, broken door he secured a metal bar across the area of the door that was bowing and wala, more than a band-aid, giving me the time needing to deal with installing a new one. Above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks Martine!

Desert Overhead Door was friendly, fast and affordable!! I saw their ad on TV and thought I would give them a try. The owner came out for an estimate the next morning and we booked my install a few days later. We had a small issue and they took care of it right away. My new garage door is beautiful, very quiet and works great...also LOVE the weather seal as it keeps dirt out of our garage. The company even called a few days later to check my satisfaction and to make sure all was running smooth. I was very impressed with this company and would recommend their services to anyone looking for garage service or replacement.

What a great company! Our door garage door was damaged and needed replacing. Brodie came out promptly and fixed the door so we could get our cars out. We were given a very fair quote and the work was completed as promised - right on time. The technician who replaced the garage door and the painter were both so friendly and professional. Martin, the installer, arrived not only on time, but twenty minutes early. He completed the job within the time frame he'd promised and showed me how to operate the device. The installed price on the invoice was exactly what I had been quoted with no hidden added costs.

Wow! I'm so happy! I messaged the business late in the day & Monique promptly responded. She asked me a few good questions to get an idea of the possible diagnosis. She was right, all I needed was a little adjustment on the sensors & to get the track tightened.
Martin arrived on time the day after my inquiry & performed the service efficiently & professionally. He was very personable...nice personality. I really like friendly, professional & efficient service. He went above what I called for & oiled up the wheels & coils... Yay!
The next day there was something else wrong & the garage door wouldn't open/close. Made the call, they came again & fixed it. Part was inexpensive & I had already paid for the diagnosis the day before... Great deal!

Developed a problem with the garage door opener – it would not close. I called these folks because they had a good rating, and were close by.
They were able to come out the next day and give me a one hour window of time. They showed up exactly when they said they would– at the very start of the 1 hour window. The man was courteous, and explained the problem thoroughly. He corrected the issue quickly, at a reasonable rate, and did not try to sell me anything unnecessary.
What more could one ask for? 5 stars in my book!!

This is the one and only place to call! The prices are awesome... the response is quick and the job is done professionally and perfectly. Our garage door completely collapsed and I called Brodie at 5:30pm. The job was complete by 2:00 the following day!

This is an awesome company that I am totally confident about to refer them to everyone I know along with using them again. They have excellent customer service, including being on-time, prompt communication, follow up, quality work and product, HONEST, and most of all very reasonable prices.
We originally found Desert Overhead Door from the directory to repair our garage door at our prior home. We were so impressed with Brodie's work and customer service that we remembered the company to get an estimate for a new door at another house. Once again, we were impressed with the estimate and hired Desert Overhead Door. Brodie's customer service with keeping us informed of the status of the door and when it would be delivered and installed was excellent. The company is remarkable since Brodie made sure the door we received met his standards of quality, which we appreciated - so the door was replaced making sure it was done right. Once again, the replacement of the door was handled with excellent customer service and quality work. I wish I remembered the other installer's name since he was also awesome. It is wonderful to find a company with such high customer service and quality work standards.

Wednesday morning before Thanksgiving, I call this company because my garage door is not working properly at my La Quinta home. I leave a message and within 30 minutes Brodie calls back. He is tied up on a job but assures me that one of his men will be at my home between 3:30 and 4:30; I ask for a 30 minute "heads up" call so that I can run a few errands of my own. Lo and behold, at 3:45 Martin calls me and tells me that he is on his way from Cathedral City. He arrives within 30 minutes and repairs and services our garage doors (2)...they are operating like new. Kudos to a business owner who does what he says that he will do. Price was reasonable, Martin was professional, clean, and friendly. If there was a 6 star rating, I would gladly rate this company that level.

Had DOD come out after I returned home from a trip to find that I could not get into my garage. Brodie said that he would be here between 8 and 8:30 am. And he was. Told me the problem and the price for repair, and fixed it all by 9am. Honest, fast, reliable and personable! What more could you ask for? They are the best!

Called Brodie, set up and appointment. Joel came out, called and wanted to come early (thrilled). Joel was EXCEPTIONAL! Installed a new door opener, had to make numerous adjustments on the original door since someone else from another company did a sloppy job installing it.
I cannot say enough GOOD about this company. Fair, high ethics, detail oriented, very friendly and truly appreciated my business. We will definitely spread the word about our great experience.

We've just had a service call since the initial review and we are please to say we still have the same high regard and opinion. Garage door spring broke, called after hours and to my surprise, someone answered and scheduled us for the next morning. On time, quick thorough service and maintenance after spring replacement.

Garage would not open. Called two companies with good Yelp reviews. First company went on about how old the system was and estimated $775.00 to replace pull up motor and tune up doors, rollers, etc.
Desert Overhead came out- replaced broken traveler and provided two new remotes for $210.00. All working well now. The technician was fast and efficient. Would definitely recommend this company to others.

We were having minor problems and finally decided to call someone. Martin came out in one day with a huge smile, winning personality and lots of knowledge. In about one hour he had the door working perfectly. Glided like new with no creeks, groans or hesitation. He also installed a new button so we could keep the light on with the door shut without charge. We could not have had a better experience. Very pleased. Ask for Martin!

These guys are great! My experience started on Yelp last evening asking for an estimate, and was communicating with Monique online last night at 7:45. Rare to find a supplier you haven't established a relationship with give you that kind of attention at that time of night. Today, the installer showed up on time, and called me from the gate to get access just when I was getting the mail. I got the message, got him in, and while I was checking on him, both Brody and Monique called - first to assure he got in, then assuming we did not connect, a call to reschedule! Such attention was appreciated. New garage door opener installed in and out in around an hour... impressive! Definitely will add these guys to my referral list!
